CRUISING

The Milltown Sailing Association cruising program plans cruises for every month of the year except December. It also includes an active reciprocal yacht club program offering members reduced moorage costs at participating clubs around the Sound and into Canada. Yacht Destinations has information for ports with reciprocal privileges. Winter months include shorter trips to local ports such as Edmonds, Kingston, and Langley. As the days lengthen, the cruises expand to such destinations as Port Ludlow, Brownsville, Poulsbo, Bremerton, Coupeville, and Port Hudson.
Cruises include loads of fun and games! We indulge in pot luck meals, hosted meals, and excursions. Anyone can host a cruise, pick a theme and run with hit!

Fun is just a cruise away!

We’re thrilled to kick off the 2026 cruising season with a fun-filled cruise to Port Ludlow! We had such a fantastic time last year with Sandy and Thomas Buus as our wonderful hosts, hiking to the waterfall, crafting limericks, and shaking our shamrocks with the best club around.

Whether you arrive by boat or by land, you’ll be welcomed into a weekend packed with themed celebrations, relaxing moments, and memorable adventures. Our amazing cruise hosts are planning plenty of fun, and Port Ludlow sets the scene perfectly with stunning sunrises and sunsets, scenic waterfall hikes, and lots of time to enjoy good company, laughter, and camaraderie with fellow MSA members.

For this cruise, we have 18 slips reserved. If you find yourself on the waitlist, please don’t be discouraged—we’re confident that additional slips will become available. And if for any reason we’re unable to secure you a slip, there is excellent anchorage just outside the marina

Each cruise has an entertaining or adventurous theme, fun activities and potluck. Time at the dock gives people the opportunity to share boating experiences, boat handling tips, maintenance knowledge and make new friends. We look forward to you joining us on Milltown cruises. We welcome sailors, power boaters, paddlers, and even those who prefer to come by car. Bring the whole family, children and pets are welcome.

Fun is just a cruise away!

Join us by ferry or personal vessel to the Port of Kingston Marina for a booktastic time with our gracious hosts Grant and Linda Albert. The book theme cruise is a blast to attend.  Our hosts will have tons of fun planned.

Fun times with friends, games, and good food, Kingston adds to that by walkable shopping district and parks.
