Ahoy MSA Crew,
Batten down the hatches and break out the eye patches because Pirate Night is almost upon us and we need you to do one very important thing before you weigh anchor: REGISTER.
Why? Because Leslie Mouton is running the galley this week and she needs to know how many plundering sailors are heading her way after the race. Help her feed the fleet right by getting your name on the list ahead of time. No registration, no guarantees on seconds.
And to everyone still tied to the dock wondering if racing is for them, the answer is yes. No PHRF? No problem. Hoist your sails, fly your colors, and join C Fleet for a night of pure fun on the water. Want to feel very official and important? Get your PHRF rating and battle it out in A and B Fleet where everyone takes their finishing position very seriously. Either way, we want more boats out there. The more the merrier and the better the stories at the dock.
And let's be honest, the after party is half the reason we show up. There is nothing quite like pulling up to the dock, tying off, and swapping tales of what went down on the water. Who stole the lead at the mark, who got caught in irons, and who is already spinning their finish into pure legend. Bring your boasts, bring your excuses, dress the part, and bring your MSA spirit because that is what this community is all about.
The Race Committee will be running a tight ship out there so expect a well-run race and plenty of plunder on the line.
Races are free. Dinner is $10. The bragging rights are priceless.
Head to the MSA homepage to register and we will see you on the water and at the dock.
Fair winds and following seas,
The MSA Team
