Ahoy MSA Crew,
This is it. The final Log Dodge of the season and we are not letting you sit this one out. Crew Shirt Night is here and we need every single one of you to do one very important thing before you fire up the engine and motor out of your slip: REGISTER.
Let's be real for a moment. You have spent more money on that boat than you would ever care to admit. The bottom paint, the new sails, the electronics that were absolutely necessary, the hardware that somehow just appeared on the credit card statement. That beautiful vessel is sitting in the slip right now looking absolutely stunning and frankly a little neglected. The least you can do is take her out for one last Friday evening on Possession Sound and let her shine the way she deserves. She did not polish herself.
Glenn aboard SV Yum Yum is running Race Committee this week so expect a sharp race and a proper send off to close out the season in style. And while the Race Committee handles the water, the galley crew will be holding down the fort dockside making sure you have something to fuel all those end of season stories. Who had the race of their life this season? Who is already making excuses for next year? Who is absolutely certain that if the wind had just done that one thing differently the whole series would have gone another way? This is your last chance to settle the score over dinner.
No PHRF? Get into C Fleet and take that gorgeous boat out for a spin. Have a rating? March into A or B Fleet and go out with a fight. Either way, we want your boat on the water for this one. Send the season off right.
Races are free. Dinner is $10. The memories are yours to keep.
Head to the MSA homepage to register. Do not let the season end without you.
Fair winds and following seas,
The MSA Team
