Number of Starts: Will be determined by the Race Committee and will be posted on the Course board prior to the 1st start
Starting sequence: The race shall be started using the current Racing Rules of Sailing five-minute starting sequence. Signals shall be as follows:
The warning signal for each succeeding class shall be made with or after the starting signal of the preceding class. A delay flag may not be flown if the following class sequence is not started concurrently with the preceding class start.
Communication: The race committee will communicate race status via signal flags. Courtesy horns will sound and the RC will monitor VHF 16 to hail and VHF 68 to talk. Failure to hear a courtesy horn or VHF hail may not be protested and will not result redress.
Race Course: Will be posted on a course board near race committee flag and will be comprised of racing marks identified in the MSA racing rules listed in the MSA 2026 race book.
Start Line: Unless posted different per MSA rules, the start line will be between the Race Committee flag and the MSA "B" mark.
Finish line: Between the Race Committee flag and the final mark of the racecourse, unless shortened by the race committee in accordance with the applicable rules.
Time Limit: The time limit is 3 hours with a 30-minute extension if a competitor finishes within 3 hours, unless otherwise posted on the whiteboard near the Race Committee Flag prior to the race start.
Results: Final results for each race and for the series will be posted on the MSA website (milltownsailing.org)

Join by ferry or personal vessel and enjoy October Fest themed games with our hosts Dale and Edith. When you are not playing games enjoy the nearby stores and restaurants. Relaxing parks and scenic sunsets that captures the hearts of everyone.

Each cruise has an entertaining or adventurous theme, fun activities and potluck. Time at the dock gives people the opportunity to share boating experiences, boat handling tips, maintenance knowledge and make new friends. We look forward to you joining us on Milltown cruises. We welcome sailors, power boaters, paddlers, and even those who prefer to come by car. Bring the whole family, children and pets are welcome.
As part of MSA's ongoing effort to keep membership costs low, cruise registrants will be responsible for the registration fees that MSA has previously covered and will continue to facilitate. The fees to register for the event are these marina fees.

This is our last cruise of the year so please join us for a festive holiday Langley cruise. The town is bustling with holiday shoppers and delightful restaurants. Check out Misfit Island Cider Company if you fancy ciders and Village Pizzeria for pizza fans. As we brave the chill together, we learn new ways to stay warm.
The pursuit race series is a great opportunity for both cruisers and racers to participate in a competitive event while also enjoying cruising.
There are 3 opportunities to participate in a race on this weekend. Race 1 & 2 from the B Mark to Langley on Friday and Saturday. Race 3 from Langley to the B Mark on Sunday. You can participate in all 3 races or just 1. Each race is scored individually.
Start: MSA "B" Mark bearing 90 degrees
Start Time: Start times will be posted prior to the race based on PHRF rating of each participant
Finish: Within 6 boat lengths of the end of the Langley guest dock
