The Saratoga Sprint is the 2nd race in the Salish Circuit series, sponsored by the Milltown Sailing Association. It is also the 5th race of the MSA spring mid-distances series. The race begins in Port Gardner with either a long (28 nm) or a short (16 nm) course, depending on the day's wind. Tides, currents, and shallow bays are challenges racers will face as they head north from Everett into Saratoga Passage to either Camano Head and Langley or the Baby Island buoy in Holmes Harbor. A post-race gathering will take place at Sound 2 Summit on Marine View Dr, where preliminary results will be announced. For more information and to register, see the links in the Racing section of the site.
